Where and How I use the Adventure Kings Swag
I have been using the swag for about 6 months now. I normally bring the swag if I know that we won’t be spending too much time inside the tent or for a quick overnight camp in our campsite in Tanay.
Pros
- Quick setup (5 mins or less)
- Comes with a mattress inside so it is comfortable
- Keeps the cold breeze out so no need for a thick sleeping bag
Cons
- Harder to pack up than to setup
- Bulky and quite heavy (easier to carry if you have a pickup bed)
- You’ll need to season the tent first before using it
- Sides are sagging
Problems encountered
I once left the tent under torrential rain. The next morning, there was a pool of water inside and we had to remove the mattress and dry it out separately. It could be the flap near the zippers but to be sure, just set it up under your awning if you’re using it during the rainy season.
